What about storage for all the pool equipment?? where is a place i can get out of the sun and just relax in the shade?? do i have a place to keep food and refreshments close to the pool or do i need to go the house every time??. About pool house plans & cabanas... pool houses and cabanas are poolside structures designed to be situated near a backyard pool. they have many uses, but are primarily built to provide a restroom and changing area for swimmers near the pool.. Pool house and storage building; i own a home with a pool in the back yard. the overall pool patio dimensions are 39' wide (parallel to the house) x 28' long. i am in need of more space for a 'fun' room with a pool table, dart boards, and some workout equipment. i envision one large spacious room to handle the 'fun' area with large windows.
